MARK-10
BGI Digital Force/Torque Indicator
Features
- Fully interchangeable force and torque sensors with
"personality" modules containing all
calibration and user-set data.
- RS-232, Mitutoyo and analog outputs.
- GCL - Gauge Control Language allows full control via
RS-232 of functions and I/O control of external devices
through three output and one input lines.
- Averaging mode of operation permits measurement of
average force/torque over time time which is useful for
peel force testing, muscle strength measurement, etc.
Time, trigger value and inclusion of peak readings in the
average are user programmable.
- External trigger mode of operation permits data capture
upon application of an external signal. Useful for
contact/switch testing or synchrozation of several
instruments in simultaneous multipoint measurements.
- Programmable dual set points with outputs for
"over", "under" and "in
range" indication or process control.
- Peak reading memory.
- Programmable initial status of units, mode of operation,
analog and digital filtering.
- Programmable auto-shutoff.
- Push button selection of units of measurement appropriate
for the sensor in use.
- Push-button calibration.
The Model BGI digital force/torque indicator is a product
offering a unique concept of fully interchangeable force and
torque sensors with automatic switching of all parameters and
calibration data. Utilizing the field-proven technology of the
highly successful Series of BG force guages, this instrument
offers an unprecedented number of features and capabilities.
Because of its flexibility, the BGI is used in a variety of
applications including bolt torquing, torque wrench calibration,
materials testing, weighing, peel force measurement, friction
measurement, electrical switch/contact closure force measurement,
muscle strength measurement, ergonomic studies, spring testing,
and many others.
