Manually tightened jaw faces may be individually adjusted to accept specimens 1 1/4" wide and up to 1/4" thick. Throat depth is 1 1/4". Ball socket mounting screw in upper grip assures proper alignment with lower grip. Hardened tool steel serrated faces are standard (smooth jaw faces avail- able; specify when ordering).
