Chatillon Medical Dynamometers

Physical Medicine:
Accurately measure and document musculoskeletal strength to determine patient condition and serially track progress. Evaluate individual muscle groups in flexion/extension, internal/external rotation, planar flexion, dorsi flexion and abduction/adduction.
Occupational Medicine:
Conduct job task analysis, ergonomic analysis, and ADA compliance evaluations. Measure actual push, pull, and lift forces of a particular job task, then quantitatively evaluate an individual's ability to perform each task. Ensure an employee's ability to work following an injury.
Sports Medicine:
Objectively quantify an athelete's musculoskeletal force output. Evaluate and document the effectiveness of a prescribed training program. Serially track each patient's progress.

For basic muscle strength testing:

100LB Model MSE100

Our newest electronic dynamometer, the MSE100 muscle strength evaluator is also our most affordable. It combines surprisingly low cost and an ergonomic design with a large ½" high LCD display and digital accuracy. Easy to operate, its four-button keypad controls all measurement functions. Measures instantaneous push or pull forces generated by the test subject up to 100lbs. (45.5 kg), storing the maximum value for a single test in electronic memory. (The value must be manually recorded before performing the next evaluation). Ideal for testing hand, arm, leg, back, and shoulder muscle strength.

For muscle strength testing and job task analysis:

200LB and 500LB Model DMG

Model DMG

This rugged dial-type mechanical dynamometer is another low cost model, for evaluations up to 250lbs (91.0kg) and 500lbs capacities(227.4kg) instantaneous force is shown on a black pointer and maximum force on a red pointer. The red pointer "freezes" at the highest reading in a single test, allowing you to manually record results prior to resetting for the next test. Attachable handles allow easier use of the instrument for both job task and muscle strength testing.

500LB Model CSD200C

Model CSD200C

Measures instantaneous push or pull forces generated by the test subject up to 500lbs.(227kg), storing the maximum value in memory. This value must be manually recorded or digitally transferred via the dynamometer's rs232 computer port before conducting the next test. Simple four-button keypad is easy to learn and use. Comes with array of attachments for job task and muscle strength testing, as well as both pistol grip and handles for ease of use.

For muscle strength, job task, and static strength testing:

500LB Model CSD300

Model CSD300

This instrument measures instantaneous push/pull forces over a five second test period. Displays the averaged mean force for the last three seconds, along with the peak force. Results for up to five separate tests are stored, along with the coefficient of the variation (cv), computed after the second and each succeeding test. Data must be manually recorded or downloaded via the gauge's rs-232 computer port before further testing. Comes with array of attachments for job task and muscle strength testing, as well as both pistol grip and handles for ease of use.

500LB Model CSD500

Model CSD500

This dynamometer comes with a remote load sensor connected by a coiled cable and has two modes of operation. In its static strength testing mode, the load sensor is mounted on a lifting bar. The unit stores peak force, averaged mean force, and coefficient of variation (%difference). In muscle testing mode, the remote sensor is used with various standard attachments. The csd500 compares the strength of an involved to noninvolved muscle group. Muscles are tested separately, with peak force stored for each. Trial-to-trail variations and bilateral strength deficits are computed and stored. Results for up to five static strength tests or three muscle strength tests are stored before data must be recorded or digitally transferred.
