Laboratory Accreditation Bureau is a signatory to the Asia Pacific Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (APLAC) Mutual Recognition Arrangement (MRA) effective December 6, 2007.  L-A-B is a full member of the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) whereby L-A-B will recognize, and be fully recognized by, the 58 ILAC signatories worldwide.

As an example of the preceding, North American automakers require their QS-9000/TS-16949 registered suppliers to utilize accredited independent testing or calibration laboratories to assess compliance to ISO/IEC 17025. The requirements are applicable not only to direct suppliers to the auto manufacturers, but extend to the subcontracted testing and calibration laboratories used by their suppliers. L-A-B is a recognized accreditation body for these laboratories.

C.S.C. FORCE MEASUREMENT'S calibration service is controlled by a formal laboratory Quality Assurance Program and company management actively supports all efforts towards the program’s on-going implementation and maintenance. The laboratory Quality Assurance Program is designed to assure the reliable transfer of metrological data from the national reference level to lower levels of the measurement hierarchy with as little added uncertainty as possible. All values are directly traceable to the United States National Institute of Standards (NIST). Links with International Standards are made regularly by formal and informal inter-comparisons.

We are accredited to ISO/IEC 17025, and the laboratory is compliant with Guide 25, ISO 1001-12-1, Z540-1-1994, QS 9000, and MIL­STD 45662A. Upon request, we will calibrate to both ASTM E4 and ASTM E-74. Additionally, we have the ability to conform to special requirements noted in purchase orders and procurement documents.
