The Vortex-xt - taking torque tests straight onto the production floor

The Vortex-xt brings Quality Control torque testing direct to the point of manufacture. Only two clicks on the touch screen interface are needed to start making routine torque measurements, with instant and clear pass/fail verification. For added versatility, more complex torsion tests can be programmed, stored and accessed by specific users, with a range of calculations available for data interrogation.





Features

Quick and efficient torsion testing solution

Instant torsion test selection available including easy access to 5 "favorite" frequently used tests for fast torsion test initiation. Simple menu selection makes it far easier for operators to intuitively learn to use the torsion testing equipment. Pictures and a short description may be provided for each "favorite" test. Test is launched with 1 press on the test that the operator would like to run.

Clear results

Pass/fail indicators can be used for swift identification of good and bad samples. The large, clear display shows torsion test data as a 'live event' graphically, in order to observe changes in sample performance, or in tabulated form for comparisons between torsion tests. 


Evaluation & Reporting

A suite of calculations are provided to enable thorough evaluation of results, highlighting points of interest. Standard and customisable report templates are available, which can be stored or exported to Microsoft ExcelŽ or SPC packages.

Programmable

Limitless torsion tests can be created and stored within the Vortex-xt enabling you to design and alter tests to meet your current and future needs. Password protected areas seperate administrators from everyday operators, preventing accidental changes to test programs.

Transfer data to peripheral devices

Export data direct to a PC, printer or datalogger for further analysis and reporting via USB, wireless network, or ethernet.

It is with excitement that I let you know that Chatillon has just released a brand new line of force gauges! These new force gauges offer quite a few enhancements to the previous generation, including an industry first - Wireless Bluetooth communications! This means that there are no more wires to worry about, and you are allowed more freedom with placement of gauges and pc's.

As you may know, C.S.C. carries a large stock of Chatillon force gauges. With the new product line being released, we need to liquidate our inventory to make room for the new gauges.
