Sturtevant Richmont Programmable Torque Measurement Machine Power Tester
The PTM-D is designed for the laboratory needing absolute control of the calibration process. It features a torque wrench loading
process that uses software to control a DC drive stepper motor for absolute load rate precision.
In addition all you have to do is just push the button and let the PTM-D do the work.
Features:
- Four testing modes cover testing of every type of torque wrench and data collection desired. Modes range from fully programmed testing with certification through manual control.
- The ergonomics of the PTM-D free the owner and the technician from the risk of repetitive motion injury associated with mechanical loaders and with hand-pulling of wrenches for testing. To load the wrench, the operator pushes a button.
- The PTM-D uses a direct-drive DC stepper motor and precision gear train to load the tools, permitting the technician to load the wrench to a given point and hold that point with the push of a button. Load variation is vastly reduced, with no induction of operator fatigue.
- Quick-Connect (QC-Series) Transducers and the S/R Switch Box make transducer changeover simple and efficient. The transducers have a spline drive that allows rapid removal and replacement when different ranges are needed, and the Switch Box connects up to four transducers to the PTM-D. With the flip of a switch the new transducer is the active one.
- Test data can be downloaded immediately in ASCII format to a PC for analysis, plotting, or storage by your software. Integration into new or existing systems is simple.
