This general purpose self-tightening sliding wedge grip is supplied with 25 x 50 mm (0.98 x 1.97 in) straight cut jaw faces. Maximum sample width is 25 mm (0.98 in). Maximum sample thickness 10 mm (0.39 in). Optional cross cut and V-notch cut jaw faces are also available.

This capstan action wedge grip is supplied with 50 x 70 mm (1.97 x 2.76 in) cross cut jaw faces as standard for testing flat samples up to 28 mm (1.1 in) thick and 50 mm (1.97 in) wide. Round samples up to 36 mm (1.42 in) in diameter may also be tested using the appropriate optional V-notch jaw faces. V-notch jaw faces are available in three different sizes.

This heavy duty, capstan action parallel wedge grip helps ensure the sample is held securely prior to the test. The grips are supplied with 0-20 mm (0-0.79 in) straight cut jaw faces for testing flat samples up to 12 mm (0.47 in) thick and 50 mm (1.97 in) wide. Round samples up to 40 mm (1.57 in) in diameter may also be tested when using the appropriate optional V-notch jaw faces, available in three different sizes.

These heavy duty self-tightening grips with a capacity range of 200 lbf to 2000 lbf (1 kN to 10 kN) are ideal for tensile testing of a wide range of materials. The serrated steel jaws ride on rollers instead of sliding along the surface of the housing, as with conventional wedge grips. This unique design prevents jamming and improves gripping characteristics.

This compact self-tightening grip with a capacity of 100 lb (500 N) is ideal for a range of low force tensile testing of small samples. The serrated steel jaws are easily opened with a spring-loaded lever.
