These small circular bollard grips are made from aluminum and are designed for testing delicate, flexible samples such as fine threads, wire and yarns, which may break easily when clamped. The sample is wrapped around the bollard and the free end is clamped tightly in place using a pair of friction washers and a thumbscrew. The bollard has a single 5mm (0.197") wide smooth groove to align the sample centrally and has a diameter of 20mm (0.79") around which it can be wound.

These grips are designed for securing wire terminals, cables, connectors, and other samples for pull testing. Three wire diameter capacities are available: 0.125", 0.25", and 0.375".

This pair of bollard grips specifically designed for tensile testing of fibre optic cable up to 5 mm (0.196 in) in diameter.

The sample is wrapped around the bollard and the free end is clamped firmly into place. Grip stresses in the specimen are distributed in the material in contact with the bollard circumference. Maximum sample diameter 5 mm (0.2 in).

This vice action grip features replaceable aluminum facing disks, plus other optional faces made of either leather or rubber for delicate specimens. Maximum sample diameter 1.6 mm (0.06 in).
